Coming Soon from GMP
Built in 1964 by legendary engine builder Keith Black, painted blue
metallic by Joe Anderson, it debuted at the famous Lion's Drag Strip
with Leong at the wheel. After crashing on his first pass, Don
Prudhomme was brought on the team as the new driver. Leong and
Prudhomme won the NHRA Winternationals in 1965, and went on tour
winning almost every race they entered, including important wins at
Pomona and Indy. The following year, Mike Snively drove the Hawaiian to
victory AGAIN at Pomona and Indy.... two of the biggest races of the
year, won two years in a row by two different drivers... a record yet
to be duplicated!

1953 Buick Skylark Convertible
One of the great joys I find whenever I receive a new die cast model is
researching the history behind the real life size vehicle that it
represents. Maybe it is just a pet peeve but I feel this should be a
mandatory requirement that is included on all models. Providing a
potential collector with a small bit of history should be a no-brainer
and one that is sadly lacking on most entry-level models today.
